I don't really understand it either because back when I got this I did unlock it from the original crate by getting it from a drop. Back then, of the 5 weapons in that crate, the gunslinger was the 3rd best option money wise. Somehow the kritzkrieg and the machina never went up as much as this.

This. Back when it was still CSGO they made the keys untradable and CSGO investors simply moved to TF2 keys since they were the same price and stable. Every time there's a major economy moment with CS2 (operation passes, new cases, red skin investment, etc.) they drop their keys for Steam Bucks to then dump into the new thing. Happens for years now.
