I just don’t know anything about the topic so made a thread. I dont keep up with tech shit because I think it’s gay consoomerism and trends usually but as I mentioned in my OP there were games I got softlocked in because I couldn’t navigate or see where I was going because the backlit screen (I assume) was what made everything in dark environments look like one same value or shade of black instead of being able to make out forms and shapes or paths to walk through. It was some budget smart TV I don’t know what technology it used. Probably some 2018 model. looked fine and good enough for anything else I played except dark environments.

How much more is OLED vs a similar tier of other technologies? Like a mid range one? I may not even buy one myself for a while but I’m also asking for my friend because he just bought stalker 2 for his pc, and he couldn’t see shit.
