In all these years I've never understood Counter Strikes skins. The whole thing seems like a money laundering/Ponzi scheme. The third party gambling site, the speculation market, It's all artificial scarcity at any minute valve could flip a switch and flush all your "investment" down the toilet by giving everyone the skin to say nothing about SC multiplayer one day dying off. If you invested real money in this it's your own fault, it was always a shady investment.

Why are people pretending this is different to any other speculative market? The "money lost" during a market crash doesn't mean your assets lost value. It means it wasn't that valuable to begin with. The only time you "lose" value is when you press sell for less than you initially bought for.

Each blanket also requires raw materials to make. The Hudson Bay company was the oldest company in North America until it went under this year and the design is iconic enough, trademarkable and old enough that a generational nostalgic come in to play.
