The "best" way would be to turn on OBS, turn on your microphone, start up a borrow run and explain your thought process throughout every decision. But most people really wouldn't want to watch that, and it can be difficult to review easily.
A more concise way I think would be the above without recording it; whenever you come upon a decision you have to think about (or used to have to think about before you believe you improved as a trainer), you type up the situation and your thought process and throw all of that into a pastebin when you're done with the run. Choosing which friends to prioritize your bond with, whether to pick up a "potentially useful but not critical" hint, when you choose to do an extra race if ever, energy management when failure chance is borderline too risky vs an "acceptable" rainbow training, what failure chances you are generally willing to risk and in what situations, etc. Also, I think a useful guide would have all of the guaranteed scenario events listed just for the people who still aren't used to it. Both New Years, Inspiration dates, Golden Popularity, guaranteed mood ups, skill up dates and prerequisites, etc.
