I play Zen pinball on my vita from time to time. I enjoy the south park DLCs

wanna be more specific? Sadly its not really a topic you can talk about easily, pinball is already niche and people are playing different tables so I cant relate at the one hard shot in godzilla or whatever if Ive never played the thing

My pinball related blog is that the jews at FX made me buy the elvira table for the fomo statue

I enjoy FX3's subtables mechanic, adds a lot.
I wonder why pinball physics are so hard to get right. Is it just that you can't feel the ball physically hitting the fuck out of everything like you can on a real table so it'll just never be right? They're all kind of floaty and prone to losing momentum whereas real pinballs are solid metal and drop like rocks, that too I guess.

for me more than ball physics the much bigger deal is nudging, all nudging depth is completely lost in virtual pinball

the xenotilt guy is making an fps next and that sucks
I wish there were more devs making pinball videogames, I hate the ones with metroidvania elements who was the asshole that though that was a good combination

is there a roguelike pinball dungeon crawler or something like this

Would be cool if someone made Pinball Quest on NES but actually good.

The closest thing to that I can think of is Firestriker on the SNES. It's a bit more breakout than pinball, but it might suit you.

There's a Skyrim pinball table that surprisingly isn't bad. Also rollers of the realm but iirc the aiming gets stupidly precise towards the end.

I like Zaccaria Pinball.

Great off the beaten path offerings. Add some steam friends, enjoy the great physics that i like more than Zen

Same, its the one I play the most on steam, even if the tables arent deep, not even the deluxe versions.

did u see the new AI art update? I mean its mostly an improvement on the deviant art tier stuff some tables had before, but feels sorta souless. I like the Remake 2018 tables the best. Deluxe are hit or miss, playfields often clutured
Anonymous No.724040297 [Report]
>>724040043
Id prefer actual art for sure but I dont hate it, and yeah its still an improvement over reusing the art from the EM tables and plastering it with no rhyme or reason or the awful original art drawn by a 5yo they had before.
The game was abandoned for a few years then they started updating like crazy and I like the tournaments and tasks they added to the full release. Im so glad it wasnt abandoned.

There's a canadian game called rollers of the realm but it's kinda ass, idk if you level up but your "party" are all different balls with different abilities and you fight enemies by rolling into them

Senran Peach Ball is so bad. Designs of the tables are so toddler tier. Can definitely see how the non existent pinball culture in japan would lead to such weird tables
Anonymous No.724040909 [Report] >>724041026
>>724040819
The game was made to showcase the girls and thats it, its very low effort. The ball physics are also borderline non existent

I did find the games VN parts to be entertaining due to how absurd it is

>"i dont feel so good"
>"quick lets get her to a pinball table"

>>724040819
I don't think anyone is surprised that that's so bad. It is a bit of a shame, though, I would've been fine with mediocre tables and physics, but they're just outright bad, the minigames are flow-breaking and annoying, and the costumes don't shrinkwrap their clits hard enough.

Someone sell me the apeal of pinball video games because I don't get it. I've tried 5 or 6 different pinball games at this point and they were all lame as shit. Pinball seems inheritly designed around the physical nature of a ball rolling around and turning it digital kills that aspect. It's kind of like how bad sports video games are at actually replicating the physical complexities of sports.

>I wish there was a way to play the real thing at home.
Most pinball tables that aren't like collectors items go for $80-400 online since they tend to just circulate between buyers as they get bored of playing them. Kind of like guns and all those markets.
If you've got room for one it's very doable.

you're not supposed to nudge with irl tables

It will wear out the legs if done violently and excessively but it's not really a problem, and the legs are the most easily replaceable part of any given table. Just be nice to the table and save the nudges for outlane saves.

Tilt warnings are just another resource, you get 2 per ball. In the old days there was no warnings you just lost the ball at the first nudge
