I've mostly been playing HorrorVale. I would definitely recommend it, but I'm not sure if this website's demographic would be into it.
I wanted to play October Panic, but it looks wrong on my machine. And it doesn't have settings so I can fix it
Mysik Belle is a great Halloween play.
Demon's Crest mother fucker.
I haven't played its demo yet, but Vampire's best friend is a new one that's probably good.

Just started Silent Hill 2 (never played it) and I might do some Resident Evil or something after.

I always try to capture the Halloween spirit but I don't always succeed. I made this collage a few years ago to try to nail down the vibe I like about Halloween. Anybody have any suggestions based on it?

My sentiments exactly. Don't know why I have a fondness for them despite their quality. Even at the time the 3D animation was pretty rough for TV. I guess like you said it could be of nostalgia. Remembering Halloween nights of the past, getting ready for trick or treating. Still miss it if I'm being honest.

i love it whenever i get a chance to bring this up
check out how she's drawn in the books in contrast to the nightmare inducing 3d specials
there's also some kid friendly scary godmother and jimmy /ss/ in one of the stories
the books in general are just really nice to look at

Cherried night manor as my horror game this year. I might try to 1CC Castlevania NES as well if I’m feeling really motivated, but October has been way too busy for me this year to really enjoy the atmosphere.
