I kind of miss when a movie came out and there'd usually be a video game tie in, even though they were usually shitty. I was watching The Bad Guys and couldn't help but think about how well a Sly Cooper style game with these characters would have worked, but they don't do that kind of stuff anymore. At best a movie comes out and they do a shitty mobile app or fortnite skins and that's all you get.

Huh, I didn't even realize that, that's clever.

She was a believably flawed person, to the point of even being somewhat pitiable even though she was selfish and unrepentant.

Her deleted backstory made her a much sadder character, although she was also supposed to go through a redemption arc, although it had to be cut for time and pacing since the climax of the film was going to end up having too much going on for her turnabout to fit in with everything else that was happening.

Its an anime callled Kaiketsu Zorori, it has a bunch of seasons and 6 theatrical movies. I forgot before, but the main character is even a world renown thief.

To be fair, with Zorori I am 100% sure the animators were furfags since they kept sneaking their fetishes into the show in increasingly unsubtle ways. So that's probably why its got such a big furfag fanbase.

Diane has a believable character flaw which is that she has an instinctive need to be thought of by the best by everyone. There's some kind of self esteem goblin lurking in the shadows with her that manifests in some subtle ways, and in the second movie, when her past catches up with her it comes at a high cost, including the wound to her self esteem which I suspect is going to come up more in the 3rd movie. If you haven't seen the second movie I will not spoil it but I was very happy with how her character was handled in it.

It does, they always shove a fart joke in every episode, often multiple. Out of the main cast, two of the three main characters are 50% fart joke. They even dedicated a whole verse to fart jokes in the second opening.

I bought it during the last Steam Sale. It's not great but it's decent enough, and for $10 I think it was worth it. I even bought it for a few friends and now it's basically our kart racer until Sonic Crossworlds goes on sale.

Well, there might be some good news on that front. Since EA just got bought out, the new owners are probably going to be looking for un-useful pieces of the company to sell off, and one of those things might be EA's Lord of the Rings games, which they can't re-release but for the right price Warner Bros might buy them, since I'm pretty sure a remake / remaster of the two Lord of the Rings tie-in games as "Lord of the Rings Trilogy Remastered" would be a big deal.

It's so weird that K-Pop Demon Hunters is probably never going to get a video game. It seems so obvious, and Sony could do it, but there's so little interest in movie games from publishers these days, and there was also the huge SNAFU where Sony let Netflix have all the rights to the movie and its merchandise for a paltry $20 million.

We liked playing those games because they were an extension of the movie we liked, and playing it was a tangible expression of our liking of said thing, even when the game was bad.
