Yea, it's Steel Soul time.

I did it. Lace took me 13 tries, but I did it with one mask left. Despite some complainers making me worried, I really enjoyed that fight.
Act 3 as a whole is so much better than some people claim. Flea Minigames and the race were a nice addition, the bosses were mostly good and very varied, or at least different from other bosses, and getting to Mr Mushroom and to the surface was one of he best platforming sections in the game. The best rewards were fast travel, unlimited shards and rosariers from the crawbell and the final pale oil from the fleas. I admire how much of the world they decided to redraw to show how the void is fucking up Pharloom even if the third act took me just under 10 hours. Peak atmosphere.
Can't wait for the DLC.

Plus you could also defend yourself against territorial shits like the ants and craws.

There's also the possibility that they were lashing out against anyone due to how badly the shit water from Bilewater fucked up the ecosystem. Remember all of Greymoor used to be as lush as Verdania until the dreg water started leaking from the ceiling and the silk harvesters were deployed.
