You'd think they would've learned by now that's what people want. Venus is sustaining the franchise I bet. They could at least try to gain some good will back by releasing the older games in a collection, or this game to the west. They have to let people know "we don't hate DOA, here's us showing that we don't hate it or want to remove it's primary appeals" like idk, it's something, start somewhere fuck! That makes no sense, they have to think about money not old ass grudges no one gives a fuck about. Besides he saved the their company, that should be enough to let go of that grudge, and even if they did hate him, why keep the franchise dead, sell it or do something with it, not keep it dormant.
