Valve are only going to release the Steam Deck 2 when:
>At least 70% of all games worth playing are Deck Verified (no tinkering for retards)
>Proton ARM is ready for launch (they will abandon x86)
>They can fit a custom APU into a smaller shell with decent cooling (one of the biggest complaints about the Deck was the size)
>The docked experience is enhanced by some sort of AI that autopicks settings in-game for you based on your monitor's resolution and your Deck's specs (what MS says they're going to do with the Xbox Ally)
>Xbox releases their next console which sucks and they can get the Xbox audience on board
