I played through the two games back to back for the first time this summer just because I heard somebody rant about TLOU2 just being misery porn. I thought people hated it because it was bad, but apparently they hated it because they're NPC's who don't want any negative emotions from their entertainment. I did like the story of the second game (first game was quite generic and predictable, still cool though). But I feel like TLOU2 could have been split into several games. Too many instanced where you feel like a climactic ending is coming... aaaand it's back to the tired old gameplay. They really did write a story first and then tried to fit the gameplay into it, which is the opposite of how you should make a GAME. Prototype fun gameplay moments first, THEN write a story to tie them together. Like HL2.

In the last of us you shoot the same few enemy zombies and the same few enemy guys. I mean, yeah you can also say about different types of zombies but you will never reach even 1/5 of the variety of hl2.

Tlou2 is even worse because it's proud of its ugliness, is dripping with contempt and is incredibly jewish, just like its creator.

TLOU series aren’t games. Like straight up, just aren’t games. A series of cutscenes with walking in between and maybe a shooter segment or two that you can no brain through isn’t a game. It’s a glorified visual novel

I've grown to quite like her redesign.

I was interested in it when the leaks first dropped, it didn't look good, it looked really bad in fact, but the multiplayer seemed like it was alright, and was pretty far along, then it got delayed, and now cancelled.
I never ended up picking up or playing 2 because I was waiting. I just don't care that much about the story, 1 felt like an incredibly tight and self contained story. Any continuation of it leaves too much room to fuck up what the story established.
