Absolutely none of the most successful gacha really restricts playtime. It's been a while that this model has been abandoned. I'm not the OP but I played granblue for years and I could easily play 5-6 hours a day just fine, while you have a "stamina bar" that refills with time, you get some many potions to refill that bar... way more than you can ever use. I never spent a single $ to refill stamina (AP), while spending several thousands on the gacha part (getting characters/summons).

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is taking up a lot of my time though, I already have like 115 hours in it, it's stupid addictive.

I have nearly 3k hours in Dead by Daylight, spread over the 9 years since its release.

I won't lie and say its all miserable, its actually a pretty fun game and extremely unique, nothing else has or ever will play like it but good GOD is it stressful and the devs only make good decisions once every few years then proceed to absolutely slobber out the most dogshit broken buggy patches anyone has EVER seen and its not close.

about 2,200 hours into Genshin Impact, significantly more when i used to play World of Warcraft but i stopped giving a shit about WoW about 15 years ago.

i also put 200-250 hours per Monster Hunter release since the Wii and 1,000 into World/Iceborne.

not sure if the new Roblox mode will hold my attention or not as it is merely a couple days into the glorified beta release so the catalog of user created content is quite small yet and the tools will get enhanced in coming patches.

Phantasy Star Online, easily. I shoved hundreds of hours into base PSO2 and probably put as many hours into the original PSO1 as well, back when it was newer. And that's not counting the other games in the general "series" of those games. I'd still be playing if I had the games installed, and the main reason I haven't tried picking up PSO1 with the fanservers is because I want some attempt at having some free time.

Warcraft 3 is easily the one of the few games I see myself playing for the rest of my life. Then there's Digimon World 1, Age of Empires II, Dark Souls, and there's a lot more in my top ten that I would reasonably be able to squeeze hundreds more hours out of if I really got into randomizers like Kingdom Hearts II. Fallout New Vegas, but mostly due to mods.

I have two main games: skyrim and minecraft. Both modded.
Skyrim playtime between both versions of the game (32-bit and 64-bit) is about 5k hours.
I don't have any reliable way of keeping track of my minecraft time. The launcher I've been using for about 5 or so years has me at about 2.5k hours, but I've been playing minecraft for much longer than 5 years on other launchers, so conservatively it's probably in the skyrim ballpark of 5k altogether.
Roleplaying out autistic stories in my head through sandbox game mechanics is basically the only way I enjoy playing video games.

I used to play Dream Tank Match religiously until I pissed off a couple of japs by fucking around. That kind of killed my motivation.

kinda miss Diablo II, what finally got me to quit for good was having my main character expire since i took a break and didn't realize how long it had been.

it was a gimmick character after they first put out that skill synergy patch that broke a ton of old character builds.

i opted to do a poison Necromancer that i over invested in to max out the damage output, full trang set, that one poison skill dagger, everything socketed with poison damage % increase jewels, inventory full of +1 poison skill grand charms and an annihilius.

poison immune enemies were a regular problem but that curse that lowered resistances would usually be enough to strip it off on most things.

it was also a shame that poison cannot 1-shot other players in pvp as it will only ever drop them to 1hp, it did lead to some funny moments when they would get killed by a random trash mob immediately after i hit them.

think at it's peak i could use a single poison dagger stab and kill Baal on the highest difficulty by simply waiting out the poison ticks.

Warframe
I have 1800 hours, which is probably not a lot compared to many in this thread. But for me a lot of the satisfaction with Warframe is that I "know" almost everything about the game. Its a confusing game with a lot of stacked systems, but I could tell you off the top of my head almost anything about it. Which is satisfying as hell to my 'tism.
Also I love a game where I can collect and own everything possible.
And lastly I basically can't get bored because swapping from frame to frame is enough of a playstyle shift that I don't notice I'm doing the same mission repeatedly.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.
I already put hundreds of hours into the vanilla game. Then I discovered the Project Tamriel mod, and it then became my forever game. I don't think I'll ever find anther piece of vidya media that will capture my imagination like Morrowind does.

It HAD BEEN Warframe. 5k hours+. Then they had took away Lotus from us. Then they had addee a lot of bullshit like replaceable skills, farming of parts instead of full items and call it "customization", then the infested openworld came, i had seen, that now you need to farm a lot of tokens to change them for other tokens to change them to yet another tokens - and that was the last straw, where i had stopped playing. Mind you, despite once upon a time spending a lot of time with Banshee and then with Saryn on Hydron and even enjoying it somewhat i had eventually understood, that it is much more fun to play Warframe "properly" (an an action game, not "break-the-system" game) and i had always disliked coptering, so for me it was the win, when Volt-copters got nerfed into oblivion, as they had finally dissappeared from public. I had also been waiting for that "shoot the red tentacles" mechanics for at least some infested, but it never came.
But the amount of meaningless (to me) leveling of things, that end up being almost the same thing in the end, farming of many more factions and those tokens specifically, Lotus gone and other such things had finally made me to quit. And from what i see and hear about further gameplay and plot changes it was a correct decision.

4k on this piece of shit. right now i play just a battle per day because of the 10th anniversary doubloon giveaway, i'm trying to have all the italian ships in the game. once i get enough of them i guess i'll be leaving it for good, just like i left his tank based older brother long ago.

I haven't gotten any enjoyment out of vidya for like three years now. All I can manage is about an hour a day if I'm lucky before I get absolutely bored to tears, no matter how good or shit the game is.
