This thing, I played it cause I used to play the ttrpg alotit's a spanish ttrpg with schizophrenic complexity and shitty translation but it was beautiful, it's weird, janky, somewhat repetitive but the art very cool and the gameplay is serviceable enough that the repetitiveness isn't that bad so long as you Don't try marathoning the game.

Really good if you liked the flash ones. The dev is named something like (((Sarah Klein))) but she opened a wiki to ask the players to discuss the features they wanted, and as a consequence we got a really nice game.
You can probably find cheap keys for the game on Kinguin or just get the Gog version

My guess would be that he realized he couldn't do everything himself aka port the entire x-com geoscape/battlescape mechanics, so he decided to create something simple crusader no remorse style

This is the most obscure game I've played I actually remember the name of. My dad got it for me as a kid and it was my favourite RTS game. Couldn't find a working version of the game for years when I had the itch to play it and then I found a torrent link some guy set up in 2020 for it.

I remember playing this game on my Wii, you could download it from a homebrew store. I've been trying to find this game online but all links are dead, it is fucking shit so nothing of value was lost but I found interesting that someone made a game about himself featuring his girlfriend and you end up saving the world by riding a fucking boat of all things.

I randomly found Gene Wars in the bargain bin as a kid and only played a few missions, but never saw any mention of it anywhere, neither in gaming magazines nor the internet later. Truly the definition of only-I-played-it.
