It's honestly impressive how hard it flopped for a platinumgames game with ninjas, coombait and whatnot.
I love Platinumgames but they need to innovate more. All their games have been mediocre in sales. I couldn't stop rolling my eyes with how many borrowed assets ninja gaiden 4 has, it's like they haven't updated their engine since MGR.

This. The world is over shit-japan. We wanting only Chinese game now. If they embrace Chinese culture as the theme it will become very positive in Chinese audience of over 1 billion people instead of shit-japan where everybody old and dying and kill themself.
