>I think it's an alright mechanic. It lets earlier enemies still be threatening instead of the Knight plowing through areas to backtrack.
This si the worst fucking take and I want to bitchslap you. What about PROGRESSION, anon? What about starting out feeling weak and underequipped, then feeling strong at the end? Why the fuck do you WANT enemies to be strong at the end? Why is plowing through them a bad thing???
God i miss the fucking Screw Attack. I want to go live in the other timeline where everyone didn't recoil at the idea of putting it in their game and seeing as a problem to be fixed. Just imagine how GODDAMN SATISFYING it would have been to go on a glorious endgame rampage where you could fly, deal lethal contact damage back to enemies for a change, and fly through Hunter's March like a bullet. The game is grueling and it definitely would have earned it.
Fuck you and your wishy-washy "oh yeah it's fine as it is, I guess... I suppose it's good right?" apologist milquetoast SHIT.
