Even without all of that, how often does a game come back from a long dormancy and not be shit? DNF, VTM, Marathon all come to mind.
Or ones with repeated attempts to make the game? DNF(again), Beyond Good and Evil 2, Mighty Number 9, daikatana.

i hate the weapon power scaling. its so fucking stupid that the double-barrel shotgun is useless whereas the saiga magically does more damage and armor pen per shot.

If you know /v/ you'd know this place would have been completely mindbroken if this game was good.
Look at what happened with Doom Eternal, /v/ kept swearing it would flop for months, and when it came out, was praised by everyone and sold well it made this place go insane.
Its been 5 years and we still get daily Doom Eternal seethe threads, just because /v/ is full of low IQ shitskins incapable of accepting when they are wrong.
If STALKER 2 had been good we would be getting several threads a day with thirdies having mental breakdowns over it.
Couple that with the spics who were seething over this game because of the Ukraine war, and I bet you some /v/edditors would have commited suicide out of pure rage and impotence.

I don't know, seems like a Stalker game to me, you get the whole package.
Now, if you wanted to play a proper, finished game instead of a franchise so horrible people try to laugh off bugs, then try Metro.

It's almost like the original stalker was the most soulful slavjank shooter with great gunplay. Huh. I wonder why people would have some UE dog shit in comparison!

Halfway through the 2nd zone and the AI is garbage if not outright broken sometimes (hello benny hill NPC's running circles). The game is very obvious when it spawns in enemies too
