gog version
this isn't a debate for preferred platform, the base version of the game has a weird mouse bug in Windows after Vista. Gog version fixes it

feels fucking terrible man

that's an option I guess
the reason it works is the gog version repurposes the exe from FF vs 3rd Reich
this has the added effect of allowing full 360 degree rotation of a map

Levine once said of the facile understanding of quantum physics in Bioshock Infinite that he enjoys writing about things he doesn't understand
that attitude works perfectly for capeshit, not so much for a time travel story about killing yourself in the most roundabout way possible
besides, you'd think at some point they'd have gotten enough reservve cash for a passion project or two

Played this and the sequel a few months ago. I had fun but are half of projectiles supposed to miss? made it really hard to use El Diablo. Also flying would cause the hero to take like 10 seconds to land, usually getting pelted by enemy attacks the entire time, so I had to use jumping instead. Are these introduced by modern computers like the mouse bug or was it always this way?

If you use them at their maximum range, then projectiles will usually miss. You'll have much better luck if you close a bit, then fire. Landing from flight does take a million years, though, that's sadly working as intended.
