Enter fog to spawn her. Die. Then go up here and just aim cannons at her starting position. Unless they did something to specifically prevent it, it should work. You can kill Commander Niall by shooting him with a bow through a hole in castle wall outside his arena. And you can kill Caelid Nox duo with cannon of Haima from up on cliff.

Its based on the boss AI not being designed to handle two or three people at once.
So every person you add is disproportionately more powerful than any health buff they give the boss.
Especially if you have a mix between a melee and a caster team, where you can shred bosses at all distances together.

The only times I'd say that summoning is deleterious is giant, fairly easy HP sponge bosses like Rykard or Fire Giant.
Or if your coop partner is bad, I would not summon for Malenia or any of the DLC bosses. The chance that they die early means that any HP buff will make that fight unwinnable for you, if you needed that summon in the first place.

summoning tends to fuck up boss AI, it will randomly zoom back and forth and let you get away with so many more mistakes and panic rolling than if it was focused entirely on you
It also at minimum doubles your potential damage output, usually significantly more since there's a lot more damage windows while it focuses on the other guy
And it introduces the potential of carrying. Yeah sometimes you'll get a useless fuck who dies in 30 seconds, but sometimes you get someone that can just solo the boss while you only have to not die. If you do a lot of invading you will see a lot of these players, at the endgame fatrolling with 1200 HP and a greatshield that clearly got hard carried through literally every bossfight by summons. It might take a few tries, but if you get lucky with the phantom, it is literally an easy free win, someone else is straight up beating the boss for you, barely better than just handing the controller to someone else.

It's still vastly easier. Nightreign makes bosses scale 100% more health per player and it's still a million times easier with a competent team because the other two just get free hits while the boss focuses on one guy. You feel it when a player isn't pulling their weight in terms of damage but Souls bosses seriously just aren't capable of fighting more than one player at a time no matter how many AoEs they give them.

They're active but honestly they're ass, both as invader and as a player.
As a player, there's little to no timer, and there's no safe area besides the roundtable hold. You can beat a boss and instantly get invaded, you can get invaded the second your co-op bro warps to the roundtable, so the invader can't actually win, because when I die, my bro can't warp, and the invader can't get to them. This is why invading sucks, it happens all the fucking time when the party is split and you just have to leave. Most of the time you also just invade someone in a fucked up situation where they can't win so I just stomp them and don't even get a fight.

Invasions are the best thing about souls games and I love being invaded. I love the stress and tension, fighting for my life against some tryhard.

Ultimately gear doesn't matter, skill does. They can come at you with all the stuff in the world, but if you can just parry them or knock them off a cliff, you win.

Being invaded in the undead burg by some tryhard with pursuers and backtabbing him off a ledge to his death was incredible. I always do everything I can to get invaded.

Nightreign being such a success and Shadow of the Erdtree bosses being so overtuned and feeling like summons or spirits are intended to be used and anything else is a challenge run, makes me think that multiplayer boss fights are going to become the norm in future games.
That you're going to have Consort Radahn or Fulghor type bosses all over, with the expectation being that you'll treat them like MMO raid bosses where you go online and make a team to challenge them.

Eh in Nightreign, unless you’re fighting Gladius or Pests, solo is a lot easier. Everdark Libra especially, that’s a completely different fight solo. Adel, Maris, Fulghor, Caligo, and Heolstor are a lot easier solo, Caligo doesn’t run around nearly as much which was the main source of difficulty from that fight since it’d just fly between players a lot and delay the inevitable in both base and everdark.
