They should make a Isekai rougelike. A new run is you getting killed by a truck and waking up in a medieval tavern. There you are randomly generated a class and race. In the tavern you have to find three other people to fill out your party that are also randomly generated from a group. Then you go to the guild hall and pick up your quests which gradually get harder up until the point of killing the Demon King. The gold and loot from quests is stored in the town between runs and used to upgrade stuff like the smith for better weapons and armor and the tavern for better adventurer recruitment and new classes. The gameplay would be Paper Mario style turn based and have a map like Metaphor where you have spend days between traveling to dungeons and new towns on your journey.

"Generic roguelike slop" doesn't describe a particular gameplay style. It just implicates OP's hypothetical game with the swathes of low-quality indie roguelikes (typically TBoI clones) that have oversaturated the genre in recent years. There should be a linear isekai rpg where the isekai'd character is written and acted very differently with um uh filler words etc, is awkward to control, needs to manage food and water etc like death stranding x5, and then the other characters are like normal video game characters

These are just basic staples of writing present in all types of fiction. Placing a character new to the setting into it to experience the world with fresh eyes alongside the reader, and then just having a bad guy in a common villain role like ceo, demon lord, school bully, etc. It's not an indication of anything to do with quality or the genre, they are just a setting and a character archetype. If you actually knew anything about the genres you were discussing you'd know that the demon lord very often isn't even used in the typical way that you're complaining about, and if you knew anything about anything you'd know that you need to portray a cliche or trope in order to do anything with it.

How about a reverse isekai? A random peasant in the fantasy kingdom of Generica gets run over by a horse cart and wakes up in the real world. Or a driving game where you play as the driver of Truck-kun and you have to run over losers to send them to Anime Fantasy Land. Crazy Taxi meets Carmageddon.

I'm working on a native isekai roguelike, but with jrpg combat instead of non-modal turn based. It's just a hobby project though, so I don't know if I'll ever finish it.

It has an adventure guild system like mushoku tensei. Recruit party members like DD. 3 randomized areas and a final dungeon with a demon lord.

Fantasy anime is a broad category. It can be anything from Record of Lodoss War and Berserk, to Konosuba and Little Witch Academia. Native isekai is a useful term since it specifically refers to shows with isekai tropes (e.g. harem building, overpowered MC, JRPG mechanics in anime) but without reincarnation.
