Choco never should've put a release date on 1.0. Every single great setpiece in Onirism is held back by a huge bug or fuckup. They backed themselves into a corner by not pulling a "when it's done", especially with the scale of this project.

Some softlocks have been corrected but major bugs remain. On the moon,dying or loading a save with a space suit can erase your inventory so you need to get back to a toybox, and the last part of Corpopolis has yet to be implemented.

You guys tricked me into playing this, i started a new save and i got to some teleporter on top of a ruins, it then got me stuck in a forever loading screen to some world with som paint brushes in it judging fro mthe loading screen. So i force exit the game because it's just stuck loading forever, and when i go back in the game it puts me on the loading screen right away and it stays stuck. I then decide to delet my save file to try again and every time the game just removes the main menu but nothing happens other than some retard jellyfish swimming away in the background, same thing happens no matter which save file i use and no matter if i delete all save files, the game is forever broken.

The checkpoints are a visual glitch, they still save and heal. Just no animation.

Dont use any teleporters if you find them.
When you get to the waterslide in Corpopolis dont go further. Theres nothing to do and the level can unload. Same in Fishbone at the location in pic.
If you get the aiming bug in spookhouse then clip it for Choco. He cant reproduce it.

I'll be honest, i liked the early access more.
I find retarded to have more slots for weapons when you only have like 4 types of different ammo, it just makes the game more annoying to play, also limiting the ammo and finding capsules to upgrade them feels like a chore, just sell the capsules at the witch store so you can grind for crystals at the open world maps(at least use the open world element)

And speaking of that, i find annoying the open world, it just feel pointless back then also had open world but wasn't so big and empty like now , it just makes me bored to explore, it really feels like Elden Ring exploration, pointless.

The Unicorn being so OP compared to the motorcycle is really a bad design, also the motorcycle is annoying to drive so is just pointless to choose that over the unicorn and is not even a fun vehicle.

The menus are still shit, i don't even know how he didn't focus in fix those, instead he added meme combos and grabs that i will never use because i am playing at the maximum difficult.

Overall you can feel the passion for the game but adding to much saturate the game and make you feel like you want to throw it.

Yes but no. You just need to save and reload. Something causes your crosshair/target to be repositioned so you cant shoot straight, always off to the side (when I had it) so you cant kill anything. It triggers on some hits but nobody has found WHAT beyond that is required. Some dude even said he got it when he picked up ammo.

This take was long time coming. I had to complete the whole marhmallot level without being able to use the save points, because the save points broke which also broke fast travel too for some reason. The back and forth you had to do in that level was insane. the whole level also had such vague directions and after that, having to do a level like celestial forge felt like such a gut punch. in this level I have gotten genuine feeling of not having any fun with the game and the game just started to feel bit of a chore, but I will still continue to play because of the good will I have for the development team and the 7 years they have dedicated for this game and I do hope it picks up again from here.

It's a shame because they've got some really cool ideas but it's clear they just don't have the coding expertise to pull them off. The Atlas boss fight could potentially be fucking kino but the physics for those jump tubes in its legs are just so fucked.
There's potential to the plant boss as well but again, throwing those weed killer bombs down its throat is janky. Didn't feel like it communicated well enough that you need to inflict enough damage to stun it before tossing the weed killer bombs in its mouth. I initially thought I was supposed to wait for it to do one of its attacks where it opens its mouth and the bomb in then.
Some of the enemies need some balance work as well. The flamethrower foxes are genuine bullshit since they can set you on fire almost indefinitely (my guess is every time their attack inflicts the burning status it basically adds more time to the duration of the burning effect. No idea if that's deliberate or not but it's still pretty shitty).
The references to other Serious Sam are cute though, like the screaming kamikaze dolls, the stuffed animal versions of Serious Sam's biomechanoids, and the beheaded dolls.

NTA, I don't really think the level design is bad but it really needs some polish. There's some parts that just fell unfinished and then other parts that are kind of shitty with check points.
Case in point for the former, after you get out of hell dimension there's basically a rock path branching off to the left that looks like it might lead to some goodies or maybe an optional area, but there's absolutely nothing over there. Not even some breakables that might yield some currency. There's a lot of areas like that, places where it felt like the devs intended to put shit but just never got around to doing so.
As for the latter point, the game's pretty inconsistent when it comes to checkpoints. There's times when checkpoints will be like 10 feet away from eachother and then there's times when there's almost no checkpoints. Case in point, in the factory portion of the volcano area, there's only three checkpoints. There's one at the very start of the factory area, one right before the boss, and then one right after the boss. Shit sucks because there's areas where you can easily fall in the lava and there's nowhere close enough to climb out before you burn to death meaning if you die anywhere before you get to the checkpoint before the boss, you have to start the whole area all over again.
