If you kick Sonar it can be a tough shift because his intelligence is a bit of a missing stat on the other heroes. I kept Coupe because her flexibility is more controlled so more useful in my eyes and also Sonar's VA was really inconsistent. I'd also already started building int as a secondary stat on a couple other heroes already because the lack of int options was already an issue before Sonar got booted.

Sonar can solo both smart and brawly mission by maxing his intelligence and speech.
Also he's perfect to fire up flambe in his bat form as he can try the mission again if he fails, and most probably won't fail.

I was behind the "BB is a villain" theory after episode 2 but now that's out the window for me.
If she was a villain trying to get the astral pulse she wouldn't need Robert, Royd is perfectly capable.
BB is just a basic normie woman having a mid-life crisis over the fact that most people know/like a version of her that isn't really her. She caught feelings for mecha man while recruiting him because he's a normal dude in the superhero game so she felt she might be able to connect with him as her normie self.
She's not leading him on, they have natural chemistry and she's a human being with regular levels of awkwardness.
