I haven't played many new spooks on steam this season but here's what I can recommend from what I did play:

Psychological survival horror with tank controls and a unique (even intuitive) combat system. Stylistically it's like schizo rpgmaker game.
>Hanako (Chilla's Art)
1st-person survival horror, one of those games where you're trying to figure out what to do while there's a persistent enemy. I'm usually not into this kind of thing but the game is more well-designed than most titles of its subgenre (including the developer's previous games).

Is the Empires and Engines Bundle on humble bundle worth it (i.e. are the games any good)?
It has:

Also, as has been reported earlier, this is not a real sale this time. Just a theme sale, which is a nothingburger.
You get emails reminding you to enter discounts on the big seasonal sales.
For theme sales, you get emails if they think your game qualifies. And sometimes even if you absolutely should qualify, you have to file an appeal to get added to the theme sale.
So for this thing, if you want to buy a horror game, it's probably discounted. But also probably not a better deal than the fall sale that just ended.

If it's going to be your ONLY device for gaming, then a laptop as it'll be more powerful. If you have anything else for games like a PS5, Switch 2 etc then get a handheld. PS5 + handheld is a very good combo for libraries.
Also get a Steam Deck OLED over a Lenovo Go for sure.

Steam Deck has amazing build quality and an even better screen. Lenovo's products (I've had 3 of their laptops) are known to be very poor quality, I personally wouldn't trust them again.
Deck also has two trackpads which are fantastic for PC games and Desktop mode, as well as SteamOS which is fantastic for handheld and installing things like EmuDeck.
Plus, since you already have a very good PC, you can stream everything to your Deck and therefore the extra power of the Lenovo becomes useless.

Somehow 3% and 5% of the userbase has these, meanwhile the "100% the base game" cheevo, which is much easier, is at 1%. I'm guessing most of the people that have Endless Journey and Back-to-Back are getting carried, either by hackers or people that are good at the game. Those achievements are hard as fuck solo. I keep thinking I have a good run, then I get unlucky or make 1 movement mistake and I'm dead.
