he is very consistently on the wrong side, not just in xehanort vs eraqus shit but during most of the disney movies. ventus fights captain hook, terra fights peter pan. in general, he's neutral while the other two are usually helping the heroes or fighting the villains.

It's a debate between Terra and Aqua, Ven is fine but his commands aren't as fun imo and his stat spread is quite paltry. Terra's base attacks hit like a truck, and his unique commands are OP, but Aqua can do Raging Storm which is fucking sick, I used that all the time in Re: COM and being able to use it again in BBS make her the best.

The entire game is written by Nomura as to make Xehanort look very smart when in reality he just wrote everyone else to be MAXIMUM RETARDED (so Xehanort looks smart only because he's surrounded by idiots)

Very naive and literally has no spine, which is why the retard instantly forgave Xehanort after getting a letter from him (even though he was CRAZY about the whole X-Blade shit and scarred the face of Eraqus) and even takes "failed" X-Blade attempt off his hands (so Terra and Aqua have to babysit vegetable Ven). Also dumb as a brick by not realizing that Ven was never a "failed" attempt, so he tried to kill him at the worst possible timing.
His main fault was never telling his students the whole truth.

Kept his master's words to heart, but it just so happened that he had good affinity to darkness, so "LIGHT GOOD DARK BAD" gave him a permanent trauma whenever dark powers popped out of him and got the best of him. Only trusted Xehanort because his master said it's okay, and Terra wanted to prove Eraqus his worth (and trusting Xehanort was his downfall).
After being permanently traumatized by his fuckup in Enchanted Dominion he did act better later on - either did everything right from the start (Castle of Dreams, Deep Space), quickly figured the situation out and told villain to go fuck themselves (Dwarf Woodlands, Olympus), got fucked by very bad choice of words (Neverland) or trusted Xehanort for nth time (Radiant Garden).
His redemption was BTFOing Xehanort in Keyblade Graveyard with his sheer force of will. Outside of trusting Xehanort, his main mistake was not travelling together with Ven (or at least Aqua) - that would solve A TON of issues for both of them.

UX shit aside, his fate was rigged from the start - amnesia, coma, going out of coma gave an opportunity for X-Blade to be forged. Roxas is just cursed to have a shitty life, even in his prequel self.

His main mistake was trying to have fun when he had no right to have fun, and both of his friends ditched him by saying "NO, STAY HOME".

Probably the biggest retard out of them all. Trusts her master as much as Terra (except when it comes to Xehanort), and as newbie master she was given two tasks: keep an eye on Terra and bring Ven back (she failed both of those tasks btw). Trusts villains whenever they mention Terra doing bad things and instantly forgets the words of good guys whenever they have something nice to say about Terra, otherwise she never trusts villains because she's not written to pop into new worlds under unfortunate circumstances. She really hates her friends and cares more about being da master, but she fucking jobs all the time and needs Mickey's cock to help her.
And maybe all that would be fine but then she activates triple retard mode in Final Episode and does the worst choices ever - keeping Ven's body in godawful place nobody except her can enter (instead of leaving it with Yen Sid and Mickey) and fucking SAVING Xehanort at the cost of her being stuck in Dark Realm with no way to escape (thus dooming herself, Ventus, Terra and THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE that was being eaten 24/7 by Ansem SoD).
She was so close to get a redemption by going Keyblade only, no items, Final Destination on Terra-Xehanort and then she blew it.
Her main mistake was not doing two tasks Eraqus gave her and then doing the worst choices in Final Episode.
