1 is a pretty mid game but full of soul
2 has much better gameplay but less soul
3 is worse than 2 in every way.

First game is the best.
It has issues but some outstanding level design.

The sequels are worse.

1 and 2 are basically the same game with only minor differences between them: if you like one, you'll like the other. 3 is the holywood blockboster cashin complete with its own avengers' assemble moment and meddling from the suit's that misses the point of the originals in exchange for targeting popular appeal.
