In all honesty at least in MMOs healers are the most difficult to play, except a few DPS-classes where you don't have a 3 buttom rotation.
As a dps you can suck and it doesn't matter that much.
But as a bad healer, or tank, people simply die because of your mistakes.
And to be honest here, tanking is literally just stealing loot for existing and a turbo astroturfed role.
The majority of tank mains are retards and bad at the game.
There are maybe a handful of encounters, where you actually need a tank that knows what the fuck he is doing.
Healers in MMOs are by far the most important classes, because their decision making matters the most and their mistakes just have the biggest negative effect on the raid.
Using a heal on the wrong target, just kills people.
You might think you needed to save the person with your heal, but in reality, the split decision you made was wrong, you had to priotize another target.
Trash healers are often the main reason why people wipe.
Meanwhile tanking is a legit mouth breather role and is mostly piloted by handless apes anyways.
Bad DPS players are also only an issue, if the boss has a timelimit, or you are in a hardcore guild that aims to be the best.
Also healing is the hardest class to judge in the trinity of MMOs (DPS/HEAL/TANK).
With DPS you can just look at their damage, target selection and if they fuck up mechanics.
As a tanks your damage does not matter it is purely your positioning and you popping CDs at the right moment.
Meanwhile bad healers might have good HPS but people are dying and they are not healing the right targets.
You can also simply overheal targets and just waste mana.
You can have people with good HPS but they still suck, because they mindlessly spam heals into people, instead of actually saving lifes.
You can be a good healer and absolutely carry a bunch of retards, that can not play the mechanics of encounters.
