I'm playing the arcade version right now and it feels way closer to the version I remember; the snes version in the collection has the health bars way higher, the music is quieter, and the character select screen looks different too. Maybe I'm just remembering wrong, but the SNES and DS versions of umk3 are the only ones I've played before the kollection.

Even on the Steam page I can barely find any info on what games are in this collection, couldn't find a list anywhere.
I have a copy of Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection and I think it's pretty good, though that one has only the arcade versions of MK1, MK2 and UMK3.
Apparently this new Legacy Kollection is actually fine, and the current mixed rating on Steam is mostly due to nitpicking turboautists complaining about things like the lack of a square pixel aspect ratio option (it only has widescreen or 4:3 aspect ratio), and issues with online play.
I still couldn't find a complete list of all games included though

Way too blurry and just washes out all of the colors. I installed reshade and put CRT Guest Advanced on instead and it's wayyyy better. I am totally fine with no 3D era games because those games are absolutely massive and I always assumed they would maybe do a separate collection for those games next year maybe. The scope of a product including every MK game and port from 1992 to 2007 is insane and unreasonable in my eyes.

Plus look at the quality of this current collection, imagine what a poor state the 3D era games would have been in if they were included. I bet there would be no features to enable widescreen, increase internal resolution, etc. you'd be better off playing them in PCSX2.

In terms of games I really do think MK Trilogy N64 and MK Gold should have been here though.
