I find it funny how Capcom keep creating new characters who are literally just budget versions of Alice. Even Grace with her scarf running around post-apocalyptic Raccoon City with her "Apocalypse" gun skins.

Capcom don't own the rights to the films. If they want to use elements from the films directly they have to pay for them. So that's why the RE4 laser corridor is different. It's the same dynamic as modern Terminator movies changing the T-800 designs so they're not the copyrighted StudioCanal OGs.
