I've played Oblivion, Skyrim, and witcher 3, and a few turnbased ones as well but they were so forgettable that I can't even remember the names. All games beloved by the casuals that infest this board.

Those suck and are games that normalfags pretending to be into RPGs play. It'd be like playing FFX, Coldsteel and P5 and then pretending to be a master of JRPGs.
JRPGs have continuously gotten better while WRPGs have stagnated or gotten worse
Very rarely does a WRPG come along that actually moves the genre forward
