Once I had a dream about a game where you play as Kimahri from FFX but it was exactly like Chulip.
Yuna Rikku and Paine fucked up everything for everyone somehow in the process of fighting some giant fiend or something, and Kimahri was going around just helping people get back on their feet and making friends.
For some reason the title of the game was “Furious Kimahri”

Peak atmosphere but rough gameplay wise. Lots of long animations and you get punished for trying to look for money in garbage cans which you need.

Unique then, would get lost in the sea of indie games today. Perhaps 24 Killers gets close in some ways. But after being exposed to a lot of indie games the older PS2 games like this are becoming less special as time goes on. We're already experiencing the experimental wave of PS2 games nowadays.
