Rare did what Nintendo/ EAD was incapable of doing, and revitalized the Donkey Kong franchise. Rare was given Donkey Kong by NOA to develop a game that would bring Nintendo back on top of the Christmas season sales charts for 1994, after losing the previous year to Sega's Aladdin on the Genesis/ MD. It did work.

Samus Returns has great armor design.
Only thing I really dislike is the piping/tuuuuubes that go into her arm cannon.
Everything else is fantastic.
Dread is a great suit too frankly, but I think SR would be easier to redesign over the current OM suit than Dread's.

ATM the design is based on Other M.
Taking that design and retooling it to be based on Samus Returns, which is mostly the same design, just beefier paludrons and such.
Would be far easier than fully remaking the suit to be inline with dread, as it has the greater orange/white contrast. the mecha/metal fiber stuff, a bit sleeker, etc.
