They'll never intentionally tech a throw, any throws they tech is by pure luck cause they were mashing a button that happened to be the one needed to tech the incoming throw

Grapplers autowin by pressing 1+2.
All the grappler need to do is press 1+2.
The defender has to guess whether to press 1, 2 or 1+2 to break it.
Every advice is in the tier of "if he reaches with left arm press 1 right arm 2" but in every animation he reaches with both hands at the same time the closer hand depends on which stance he is in, not the specific grapple attacks

it takes 0iq to make grapples but it takes dozens or hundreds of hours to reliably tech grapples. How do FGC retards not understand this is terrible game design?

Tekken is in a really weird spot because the game is way overtuned to detrimental degrees with mixups and safe counterhit launchers and egregious mids.
However, the overwhelming majority of people complaining about it are players like OP who don't step, punish, block lows, or break grabs. Or complaining about moves Armor King has had for decades.

You can easily train yourself to react to grabs. The only real grab mixup King has is Giant Swing and the Tijuana Titty Twister.

I'll also just add that most Kings are total dogshit at hiding their giant swing inputs so you can see them input it in real time making it pretty easy to break giant swing consistently even if they're mixing it up with a 1+2 throw

I don't feel like sitting there and practicing it. In time, I will gain that skill naturally, I'm gonna have to keep eating the throws in the meantime but that's life. I'm not mad when people abuse throws against me, I know that I choose to let that happen by not practicing throw breaks and it only speaks to the opponents skill that their able to identify this weakness and exploit it.

Also, this is Tekken. Don't try to pretend like you don't know what's going on with this game. Most characters have a combo string that does over 50% damage, meaning two taps and somebody's dead. Requiring 4-5 hits to knock out a character makes King one of the weaker characters on the roster, not stronger.
