That sort of internal strife doesnt always spill out, they'll stay bottled up until something draws that forward. In the hyakkyourran's case it was the disappearance of someone they leaned on, and for Nagusa she was covering it up in a lie that she couldn't maintain.
No shit the other clubs don't look dysfunctional, they havent been given a plot that would cause them to burst apart at the seams.
The closest thing we've had to this would be Hoshino dealing with the loss of Yume, right down to the self-blame. The biggest difference is that Hoshino tried to deal with it alone, she didn't have people in the same boat to stay afloat with.
