When I went to Japan, one of the times I was in a cafe it was doing a Code Geass Collab. They had some themed food. I got a plate of fries and ate them and was the only one in the cafe besides the staff. They basically just had some Geass posters and some clips playing on a screen.
I did also see an Idolmaster thing where they had a room full of Idolmaster CG standees. Kinda neat

Most of these themed cafes are dead as fuck, the food is overpriced and bad quality since its literally premade and reheated
Only the permanent ones like the FFXIV cafe, kirby, pokemon are actually okay
