Anyone played this? Unfamiliar with the beat em up genre but it looks interesting!

Just buy it dude, goty for me. Much better than stuff like dragon's crown, also a more fun roguelike than Hades (haven't played Hades 2)

I was the first person to finish it on 4chan in the day 1 thread. My opinion is that its "ok". Its nowhere near as good as Streets of Rage 4 was.

It is hands-down the best game in the genre and I've been playing these types of games since the 90s.

my only complain is that there is not a single playable character that look that cool to me

story is woke and they admit it when you boot the game. it says they got funding from an EU woke fund. not joking.

Then start with a better game. I beat it and its fun but the rougelite elements are fucking garbage, play things from the golden age of beat em ups like Final Fight, the first Streets of Rage games and Golden Axe.
try to be more subtle about shilling in the future, this is a pathetically transparent attempt

Typical mediocre rogue-like fair. If you don't care about level design (or story for that matter), you'll be fine.
