I'll be completely fucking honest, I didn't even realize outer worlds 2 came out. I didn't see any announcements about it and I only started seeing it pop up because of /v/
Outer worlds 1 was the most disappointed I think I've ever been for a game and I wasn't even particularly looking forward to it. I'm glad I played it when gamepass was doing that $1 thing. I haven't looked sideways at another obsidian game since then.
