On native hardware it literally was dipping below 30fps constantly and looked like a shitty slideshow. The gameplay was shit too and it was full of QTEs. Not sure what I'm missing

No idea if it emulates well but sure. Most games I've tried didn't have major issues. It's not like the performance matters here either, as long as you get to 30 FPS. Foe the most part the game is an interactive anime with a few arena brawling scenes thrown in between. But boy do they know how to make shit look cool.
Make sure to download the DLC too since it's the actual ending to the game which was the result of the second game getting scrapped or some shit.

At least it wasn't made by subversive commie faggots, and there's no walkie talkie sections.

it runs 4k/60 on toasters. there was an issue with 60fps in some qtes where you need to mash double as fast as 30 though, can just set a keybind on the controller to lock it to 30 for those moments if you can't spam it fast enough.

As a rule of thumb, never listen to retards telling you to watch a game being played instead of playing it yourself. Regardless of how much the game plays itself.
