I liked Rise of the Ronin, it was a bit underrated, but playing it after NG4, it just feels incredibly sloppy in comparison. But it was "soulslike" and open world so of course the normie shitters. It's worth nothing that the game sold very well apparently above expectations, and it was launched on steam at 50 bucks too, and I think it wasn't on gaypass, so if anything I think NG holds up quite well.
