The humor and writing is pretty similar, maybe slightly less absurdist and abstract than the guy’s previous games in favor of making something more narrative driven. I enjoyed it a lot.

I always think these characters look a bit better with some semblance of hands. Even Muppet paws with just a thumb.
Sometimes it looks like their hands were sliced off...poor girls.

While I also do prefer hands, in the games they keep changing from hands to muppet paws to noodle arms, so I keep swapping the way their hands are represented in my drawings once in a while.

I pretty much liked everything the series had to offer. From how BB's dialogue was written with her describing her surroundings alongside some bits of her own personality in it to the combination of how the textures/sprites were designed with some good music to listen to.
But if I had to pick something to like above all else in this series, I would choose the writting, even though I still need to collect more perspectives on the matter since there's a lot of things I'm probably still missing in how the story can be understood by people.

Apparently BB was supposed to run into ZZ after escaping to the rooftops of the mansion in the final game. But the bit was cut from the final version, resulting in her notable absence.

That's pretty neat, where did you find this?

It's interesting how this artist has slightly changed the way they draw BB. Most noticeable, the hair is larger and a slightly different shape (coming more to a rounded point on top of the head).
I would say be careful not to get too of course with the design or you start going off model. I might actually prefer the older way they drew them.

I also placed in my mind that since some of BB's sprites also sometimes made slight changes in her proportions or shapes, then I could take such liberty to do the same. But I understand your concern and I'll take notes about it.
