What other 'break glass in case of crises' are there? For WOW back in the day it was bring back illidan, playable high elves, housing and all have been hit. For XIV people usually cite ff7 but back to back with S9 would be odd. If not FF7 I'd think ff10, but that's clearly being saved for Meracydia and that's not 8.0. Sengoku Jidai Age of Blood would be the other thing since Japs would like Japan time, and so would weebs.

From what I've seen and heard of the game it seems a lot higher quality than BP, the game seems to be significantly more popular than the original Mabinogi and according to Nexons quarterly report it's currently their best performing mobile game and in their top 3 PC games so popularity wise it's doing insanely well.
Although I have also heard some complaints about lack of content (there isn't a lot of english discussion about the game due to how notoriously difficult it is to play korean games, it also doesn't help their official site requires a VPN to even access)

As for Mabinogi Eternity there still isn't a date for it so I highly doubt it's coming out any time soon
