No. I personally don't believe its wrong to remake a game. Music have covers. Films have remakes. Books have different translations. It is an inevitability and that's fine. What pisses me off is not doing anything to preserve the original in anyway whatsoever. It is the one medium where it feels like the conversation is absolutely frustrating. The remake is a separate product from the original. If this is not accepted, we can't even begin talking about the remake. It is not a replacement. RE1's remake is insanely good, to the point where its hard to recommend the original because of everything it does, but it still does not replace the fact that RE1 exists and people should and for the most can experience it very easily.
