I don't think so.
If they focused on remaking bad games to improve on them, that would be one thing, but they aren't really used like that.

no and I think most remakes were good, but then again they weren't my childhood games.
If something like spellforce 1 got remade I would probably seethe over the bs they would change too

A Fistful of Dollars and The Magnificent Seven say otherwise.

Those weren't remakes that was plagiarism
Anonymous No.724675698 [Report]
No. I personally don't believe its wrong to remake a game. Music have covers. Films have remakes. Books have different translations. It is an inevitability and that's fine. What pisses me off is not doing anything to preserve the original in anyway whatsoever. It is the one medium where it feels like the conversation is absolutely frustrating. The remake is a separate product from the original. If this is not accepted, we can't even begin talking about the remake. It is not a replacement. RE1's remake is insanely good, to the point where its hard to recommend the original because of everything it does, but it still does not replace the fact that RE1 exists and people should and for the most can experience it very easily.

Thats because it had the original director coming back.

Learn what "inherently" means, retard. One contrary example is literally all you need.
