Part 3 is still going to be an iterative action game. Hamaguchi will direct a turn-based FF17 when 7R3 is done.

Current battle system is great. No need for turn based. Turn based retards should try remake and yuffie dlc first it's much better than original. My only problem with remake is censorship and barely any fanservice. Other than that they're great,

When people discusses FF7r, the combat system is constantly being praised.
When people discusses Baldur's gate, people seems to forget the game is a game with combat. People just consider it a "oh its just another turn WRPG, throw it into the pile".

Not a chance, anon. I actually really like Divinity 2 original sin combat, which is very similar to baldurs gate 3
But FF7 remake/rebirth also left me a very, very strong impression and shows me FF doesnt need to be turn based if they dont want to. They have to walk their own path, not to copy baldurs gate for no reason or to make cookiecutter turn based RPG combat system.

For fuck sake, don't ADMIT that you had no idea what the hell you were gonna do for the different parts when you started the remake project. Yeah, we all knew that was the case, but at least pretend you know what the fuck you're doing.
