YouTube "critics" have single-handedly killed 90% of abandoned video game franchises you used to love over the last 15 years. How do you feel about that?

If you can't look at your favorite games and see objective flaws, I don't know what to tell you. Even 10/10 games are technically flawed, but their good so heavily outweighs the bad that the latter doesn't even matter. Next time you play something, good or bad, take the time to sit with it and think about it. If done right, it'll help you gain an appreciation for the medium.

there is a soup of random zoomer pop up accounts spouting the most generic modern line, but many big accounts have more respect and try to approach in context. I feel like a lot of the aplomb over video essayists only factors in the most generic low effort crap.
