Why wouldn't there be? Ogres came from Outland. Ogres were in the Horde. Dark Portal is only a few zones away, and Duskwood is a not fully controlled by Stormwind.

Remnants from the old horde. There were several levels set in the Azeroth subcontinent in WC2. The ogres in Duskwood probably went their separate ways from the orcs after the portal was closed. It blows me away how the big old world revamp ended up being far and away the most poorly aged content in all of WoW. Every questline involves either dealing with the immediate aftermath of a disaster that happened 15 years ago now, or else just a vastly inferior rehash of the original zone's storyline.

The human starter zones are by far the dumbest, because they "tried" to have elements of the Stormwind Army actually returning to help rebuild these zones, but they didn't do away with the fact that the entire plot of these zones was Stormwind abandoning these zones, so you get shit like Westfall's storyline where the entire fucking army is there and just not doing anything about all the fucking bandits. And CSI Miami memes.

This is true, fuck that nonce. The only other time it felt close was the early days of Classic WoW. Beyond that it was people selling runs up the ass and every braindead retard using Questie. I actually teamed up with multiple people at different times in Turtle for quest chains and whatnot, the community is the best you're gonna get out old WoW.
