Now, hear me out. I know that the fippy bippy response is gonna be "any", but simply put, I don't believe you. Any amount of lurking on /v/ will have you figure out that the average /v/irgin here plays at least SOME woke games, whether they try to downplay that wokeness and pretend it doesn't exist or not.

So let's get to the heart of the matter and be honest with ourselves. When does wokeness become a problem? Here's a small survey to help you figure out where you stand.

Fact of the matter is cunts nowadays don't know what "woke" means, wokesters make the "hurhurr you can't define it" excuse a lot, but truth it, they're kinda right, because when they say people think anything with a woman or a negro in it is woke, someone inevitably pipes up and proves them right

Here's how I see it-
What does the word 'woke" mean? Does it mean politically left leaning? Does it mean including minorities? Does it mean progressive or politically liberal? No, the term originated from people who considered themselves 'woke' aka 'awoken' to social injustice, they think by including a buncha minorities in something they are performing some kinda social duty
That's how I view it, a game with fifteen black men in it is less woke than a game with one black man, if the intent is to make a social statement by someone who thinks they are enlightened on race issues
A game with a buncha queers in it is less woke than a game with one homosexual if it's done out of social spite to try and push an agenda

"Woke" is always intent, never results

I've been playing Absolum lately. Of the 4 main playable characters, there's a dwarf man gunner, an elf woman warrior, a non-binary masked thief and a tranny wizard frog.

It's my third favorite game of the year and in my top 10 Roguelites AND my Top 5 beat em ups.

You're stronk game devs with a vision, right? Just be yourselves and have the courage of your convictions. And if the non castrated male audience doesn't buy your woke trash, and you go bankrupt, that's just how the cookie crumbles, how the turn tables, etc, etc.
There's nothing more disgusting than a person who begrudgingly gives the audience what they want in order to get the paycheck, because every time they do it, they die a little more inside.

Every time you make that female character to not be repulsive looking, you die a bit inside. Every time you control yourself and don't put gender castration propaganda in entertainment aimed at children(by your own admission), you can't sleep well that night. Every time you can't make the stronk empowered dyke character or make it so that like male characters are emasculated, you get constipated the next day, because that's not who you are, and that's okay. Really, it is. You just keep making the woke trash you want and the audience will keep ignoring your products because they're not obligated to buy them, and that's the beauty of the free market. The trash gets filtered out, and only the mentally sane people remain.

tl;dr the fact that you have to ask that question is proof that you're the cancer that has to be filtered out of the western games industry

>I'm fine with wokeness on a conceptual level. I don't think it inherently ruins a project. Some of them are quite excellent (Jedi Survivor, RE2/4 remakes, Horizon ZD/FW). By the same token, I think plenty of them are terrible (most stuff made by Ubisoft and Bioware, garbage movies and tv shows like The Boys and Sinners).

A/B is a red flag, for sure. Not a dealbreaker, but if it's there it usually means a ton of other issues.
Girlboss, as I understand it, is essentially a Mary Sue. Comes outta nowhere and is instantly better at doing stuff than men, often established pros, plus she NEVER makes mistakes. It is a dealbreaker because it's irredemably trash writing, and it's often motivated by unfiltered hatred of men. Actual strong female characters are alright. As long as they're reasonable, not turbobitches, compete mainly against other women, etc.
