sometimes I wonder if I'm the weird one because I *don't* have superhero fatigue. Maybe it helps that the literal only western movies in the genre I've seen in the last ~15 years were Spiderman Homecoming and I guess Joker and most of my "superhero" media is Japanese. Whether it be toku like Kamen Rider, Ultraman etc. or anime like MHA or Precure they haven't really become all that cynical about the concept of heroes over there in my experience.
Either way I like Dispatch so far and its take on a more corporatized world of heroes. More than anything else I just like that they still feel like heroes. Phenomanaman is clearly in a depressive slump but when he describes burning out the sun you don't get the impression he'd actually do it. Chase might be upset about his lot in life with the unexpected aging, but he's still doing what he can to help the city and the people close to him.
