yeah some enemies hit the moment their animation starts and the goblins have crazy-long range on their swings. a lot of that gets fixed in mods.

Do a bow build. You literally cannot lose. Especially once you get the unlimited quiver. Just keep backing up and shooting.

They probably need to renew the licence to keep ip rights or they'll sell them to embracer group. A remake or a sloppy AI upscaled remaster of MaM is in the cards.
