The game doesn't require a dedicated healer, just finish fights quicker by replacing her with literally anyone else and her heals won't be missed. If you absolutely need healing, Riki's You Can Do It is MORE than enough: it's AoE, recharges relatively fast and is boosted with debuffs, with the added advantage that Riki actually has more than 1 Red and Purple Arts for Chain Attacks, actually decent DPS and won't outright ruin some Chain Attacks by having to cool off at inopportune times.

Long range tomes are bad.
If the game has durability then you just face tank them for the 5 turns it lasts or if there isnt usually there is no way to work around them.
Though 3H gave you distant counter to fuck them over. It was fine there.

I like them a lot, but I can't say they're good for game design. Enemy siege tomes usually amount to just slapping a Pure Water or some other fag with high Res in firing range and plopping a healer next to them just in case. Player siege tomes can be pure cheese on some maps.
Just finished my path of radiance iron man after starting this save like a year ago. First time beating it and the first iron man I've beaten too.
Overall I enjoyed it despite the low difficulty, after playing so many hardcore tryhard games/hacks it was nice to play something a bit more chill and iron manning meant there was still some tension.
Definitely not my favourite game or anything but I'm glad I played it.
I nearly died in endgame because I wasn't expecting the ashnard's second phase, only survived because I got lucky with an aether proc.
Lost Rhys, Soren Ilyana, Haar, Tauroneo, Tanith and Jill (last 3 were all in endgame)
Top 5 units were all the usual suspects. Special mentions to Marcia who ended the game with 4 capped stats.including defense somehow.

Question about FE4, I know some characters have two different types of holy blood, but was that due to limitations for the game or is it because of lore, what if a mom had two types and the dad two other types of holy blood, could the kid have four?
