It runs worse, you gotta fiddle to get the DLC in, you gotta use a patch or Reshade to fix the colors, you can't uncap the overworld's framerate because it just runs at double speed, it's poorer performant and it has bugs such as the audio cutting off until you move to a different map unless you use an older build.
The remaster has ALL the content bundled in by default minus 9 costumes, runs like a dream and requires no fiddling whatsoever.

For how serious and heavy the plot is, Berseria is also somehow one of the funniest Tales of games. Perks of having a really solid and well balanced cast. It might not be my absolute favourite JRPG party (FF9 and Nier exist) but it's easily my favourite Tales of Party.

I've never been able to stomach a Tales game for long. The longest I lasted was in Zestiria because I was having fun with the cosmetics, but when I was leaving the village to escort that girl I dropped it.

Every other Tales has me drop it almost instantly, there's just something utterly boring or something about the writing. And the gameplay is whatever.

Kek, it feels so much more broken just because of the skill tree system and the fact that weapons are tied to shop upgrades. It's not like in Graces where you have to fuse materials to get new weapons or locked behind story progression.
