Anyone know a good strategy for Chip Fever event?

I managed to get Enguarde but I'm struggling to get the Kong Banaza statue.

Prioritize Chip Thief while doing missions to build up a stock of chips early, get the 50% increase with Magic Wallet whenever it shows up, then stack Chip Magnet to get emeralds passively. If you have enough chips and stack it to level 5+ you should hit 1M emeralds by the end without having to do anything else. Use Smelting Green on the last few rounds if you still need one last boost.

go fopr chips and don't spend them, everytime "x1.5 chips" show up you take iot. also get the passive income with chips and during the last round you try and get the "trade chips for emerald".
Reroll as many times as it takes as this will easily net you a million alone.

I did this but the other way around. I prioritized Chip Magnet, then Chip Thief then Chip Negotiator. I only picked Magic Wallet when there where no better options.

I ONLY used smelting green in the final round.

November 25th IIRC. It's silly they only run the events for one week if there are going to be two more weeks before the next one anyway. I've also been keeping up with the seasons in Pokémon Legends ZA for the exclusive mega stones and those are simply three weeks with the next one starting immediately afterwards.

Well, when my backlog clears I'll look back into it. If they aren't repeating then I'll pass. I think I'll get $20 of value out of it, which is good because they sure won't discount it. I also don't want to get it right when they're doing a timed event and give the impression that timed events for single player games will push sales.

Pros if you like Bananza as a whole: it teaches you to play in different ways that emphasize all forms of movement you may have ignored in the base game. It also turns your upgrades off and has you think about what to re-unlock and prioritize during that run.

Cons: it's still a roguelite, based on repeat runs and RNG missions and perks you're expected to strategize around. I'm not sure I'd recommend it if you don't like the genre, even if you love the game itself. On the other hand, you may come to appreciate it because it's wrapped in Bananza's mechanics and level design.

It's pretty good, because the base Bananza movement and mechanics are good. Though I think it has some balance issues as a roguelite, because you have a lot of control over the RNG elements and I feel like there is a clear single viable strategy.

I think the biggest strength of this mode is forcing us to be resourceful. I appreciated the game more. My playthrough of bananza had plenty of instances of challenges being trivialized by me having too many upgrades. Now something very simple can be tough because you lack upgrades. The way it’s played is so different. I think a playthrough of bananza or low or no upgrades would be way more fun than what I did.

I accidentaly discoverd this method on my first run and even though I traded all my chips for emerald in round 3 I still managed to get 1.8 million.
The x1.5 multiplier is really powerful.

Lmao here’s what it comes to. You are deranged about Nintendo and can’t think rationally about the dlc. It’s often $90+ for deluxe version of games all the time with just some cosmetics. Resident evil 9 as an example.

This a full fledged new mode and way of playing. Was it separated from the full game? We don’t truly know that. It seems that way, but reports have stated that the switch 2 launch was delayed to polish the games and make sure the supply was there. So bananza could have been finished or mostly finished for 6+ months with the dlc still being worked on and then they released it. We don’t know enough to make a fair judgement. I think $10-15 would have been a better price, but the package is beefy enough to warrant $20.

I think the single biggest problem with it is how the frenetic time-attack action-platforming works with the fact that it is a roguelite and you have to constantly check the map.
