The worst part is there's an example of how to do it right in the original game, where on the mountain there were flags marking the spots you could go up and down. The reason being there's a mountain climber living in a nearby cabin who marked them. Moving then over to the remake would be trivial.

Adding accessibility also increases esg score which is the #1 important goal for shekelfarmer corps, which is why every game is so retarded these days. Their plan isn't actually to get more people to play it and is a mere b2b transaction. If a game panders to accessibility via pre-launch trailers you know its gonna be a trash game, so anything with yellow paint is more than enough to know how the rest of the game will go. The steam store pages are also a great resource for avoiding games because it lists all the accessibility crap each vidya contains.

I've only been seeing the paint in chink shit for some reason. I was playing Vindictus defying fate's beta and despite the fact the levels were linear as fuck, it still had paint.
